I have gone from using a KVM switch which required having to push a button on the switch to move from computer to computer, while this allows me to press the Scroll Lock key twice, which is a GREAT method. Quick and easy and right there on my keyboard.
I use it to share a Mouse and a Keyboard.
I am working with a laptop and a desktop, both running Windows XP.
It was very easy to hook up and has worked flawlessly for several weeks now.
There is an extra feature which I love, which is that it sends a message to both computers that there is a Mouse and a Keyboard attached, so that even when I reboot the computer, it always boots up with the mouse/keyboard connection intact. The old KVM switch didn't do that, and I would forgot that the desktop was rebooting and switch over to the laptop and then end up having to reboot the desktop because it didn't register the mouse and keyboard.
